Thanks for joining me on this wild ride that is the Bennett Family. Here is the last review. But fear not, Your fierce Love is already available as an eBook, I am so excited for the audio release. I cannot wait to see who the narrators are this time!

Alice Bennett has been holding a torch for her older brother’s best friend, Nate, for more than a decade. He’s a hotshot TV producer who travels the world, never staying in San Francisco for too long. But now he’s in town and just as tempting as ever. . . with a bossy streak that makes her weak in the knees and a smile that melts her defenses. As a successful restaurant owner, Alice is happy with her life. She loves her business and her family, yet after watching her siblings find their happy ever after, she can’t help feeling lonely sometimes—but that’s only for her to know. Nate Becker has always had a soft spot for Alice. Despite considering the Bennetts his family, he never could look at her as just his friend’s little sister. She’s a spitfire, and Nate just can’t stay away. He loves making her laugh… and blush. Their attraction is irresistible, and between stolen kisses and wicked-hot nights, they form a deep bond that has them both yearning for more. But when the chance of a lifetime comes knocking at his door, will Nate chase success even if it means losing Alice, or will he choose her?

Nate Becker has been friends with the Bennett family for years, he is always jet-setting around the world as a TV producer but whenever he makes it home he always finds time for the Bennetts, especially Alice. Alice Bennett believes she's suffering from the curse of unrequited love, turns out Nate is suffering from it too. When a job falls through and Nate finds himself permanently back in San Francisco, he decides now is the perfect time to see if he and Alice can make a go of things. But with 6 protective brothers can things run smoothly?

This series just keeps getting better. Layla Hagen has quickly become a one-click author for me. This book is no exception. I love how each book in the series is different and that it centres around one family. I adore Layla’s writing style, she has the perfect mix of humour, emotion, and sexiness. I am still waiting to be adopted by the Bennetts, it has to happen, right? Pretty please!!!

Friends turned lovers, yes! I was ready for this. Throughout the other books, Alice alluded to a family friend that she had feelings for, and we finally get to meet him and we can’t blame her! He’s a keeper. I loved how this played out. Spending more time with the Bennetts is always a plus. I liked having little snippets into the lives and mindsets of the other Bennett's, especially those that have already got their HEA, it’s always fun to see that continuation. It was also fun seeing a little more of Blake and Daniel and how they’re growing as characters, even in the background. I can’t wait for their HEAs. Side note – I’ve read Blake’s and it was so worth the wait, I think I still have stars in my eyes…I need that audiobook stat!

Alice is such a fun character, I have loved her in the other books and was so excited to finally have her book. She definitely has that kick-arse, independent woman thing down to an art. Unlike a lot of books, Alice doesn’t lose that when she falls in love, she’s still that same woman. She’s a savvy businesswoman that is in complete control, well, apart from her love life or lack thereof, thankfully Nate has plans to fix that and fix it he does.

Nate, oh goodness, where has this dreamboat been hiding? He is all the things. I loved that he didn’t want to start anything with Alice until he knew he was staying. He is funny and charming and, well here, take my panties already. The scene with the elderly people was so endearing and made me swoon all over again. Is there nothing this man can’t do?

I adored the relationship between Alice and Nate, it was fun and steamy. I loved that the relationship was built on friendship and seeing their history come to light throughout the story. It was beautiful. It had some scorching sex scenes that were perfect for this couple. They had a couple of bumps in the road but they persevered.

Jo Raylan is one of my favourite female narrators and I was incredibly happy to hear that she was narrating this book. As always, she was fantastic and really brought this story to life, she was Alice as far as I’m concerned and her performance of Nate was wonderful, she never ceases to amaze me with her male characters, I am often so caught up in the performance that I forget it’s a female narrator.

Ryan Turner is new to me and I really enjoyed his performance. It was smooth and easy to listen to. I really enjoyed his performance of Nate. He was a great choice. I’ll definitely be looking for more of his work.
