Tomorrow's review is for Your Inescapable Love. Performed by fan favourites Sebastian York and Lidia Dornet.

Eric Callahan is a powerful man, and his sharp business sense has earned him the nickname ‘the shark.’ Yet under the strict façade is a man who loves his daughter and would do anything for her. When he and his daughter move to San Francisco for three months, he has one thing in mind: expanding his business on the West Coast. As a widower, Eric is not looking for love. He focuses on his company, and his daughter. Until he meets Pippa Bennett. She captivates him from the moment he sets eyes on her, and what starts as unintentional flirting soon spirals into something neither of them can control. Pippa Bennett knows she should stay away from Eric Callahan. After going through a rough divorce, she doesn’t trust men anymore. But something about Eric just draws her in. He has a body made for sin and a sense of humor that matches hers. Not to mention that seeing how adorable he is with his daughter melts Pippa’s walls one by one. The chemistry between them is undeniable, but the connection that grows deeper every day that has both of them wondering if love might be within their reach. When it’s time for Eric and his daughter to head back home, will he give up on the woman who has captured his heart, or will he do everything in his power to remain by her side?

Eric Callaghan is a single father who is only going to be in San Francisco for a short time, he isn't looking for love, as a widower, he only wants to care for his daughter and keep his business moving forward, but there is something about Pippa Bennett that he just can't resist. Pippa has been hurt, she is now focused on helping her 8 siblings find love, that is until she meets Eric. Sparks fly and soon they're in head over heels, but what will happen when Eric has to leave?
I think this is my favourite book in the series so far. Layla Hagen writes books that draw you into the story and each book feels like your favourite, has something that resonates and keeps you coming back for more. I love the way Layla can have me laughing, and crying and swooning all within a few minutes of each other.
I loved this storyline, a doting widowed single father, and a woman who has been hurt. Both coming together and unable to resist the attraction, no matter how much they wanted to. It was sweet and beautiful. This book hit me in the feels more than the first two, I just found it tugged on those ole heartstrings more. I shed a few tears. The epilogue just gutted me, in the best way possible. It was beautiful.
Pippa Bennett has had a rough time, poor love. I don’t blame her for wanting to stay away from men and put all her energy into helping her siblings, but I am so glad she was able to put all that hurt aside and find her own HEA, she deserves it. I loved her interactions with Eric’s daughter, it was so sweet. The way her family embraced them was very endearing as well, but then, it is the Bennett family.
Sigh, Eric Callaghan is a beautiful man. I adore him. The way he was with his daughter, Julia was heart-warming and panty-melting – don’t judge! I know I swooned more than once over him. His attempts at trying to resist how he felt were cute, thankfully he couldn’t keep at it and gave in. He deserved to be happy, he’d lost so much. I loved his alpha persona both in the boardroom and in the bedroom.
The relationship between Pippa and Eric was super sweet. The chemistry between the characters was spot on. The sex scenes, oh my, talk about sizzling, well done Layla for making those scenes so perfect for this couple. I loved the placement of them too, they really made an impact on the story.
I've never listened to Kendall Taylor before, and, oh my word, she was amazing. The emotions she was able to convey were so good, I need more. I was especially taken with her performance in the epilogue. How I’ve not managed to have a title or two in my library before now is shocking and something I shall be rectifying immediately.
It's been a while since I listened to anything narrated by Jeremy York, this book just reminded me how fantastic he is and why I need to spend more time with him in my ears. He has that dominant edge while being sweet and emotional. Jeremy was the PERFECT choice for Eric, I cannot imagine anyone else in that role. Nobody performs sweet alphas quite like Mr. York!
